Lately I have been tired.
Tired of...
my stomach
feeling hungry.
deadlines
homework (yes it just begun)
laundry
gas tank being almost empty
flabby arms
bad mirrors (yes there is such a thing especially when trying on bathing suits)
my hair cut
the ICU
my house in shambles
flooring almost in, but not quite yet.
the wind.
What are you tired of lately?

Online University
So today my first online class began. I am now a phoenix like the little commercial says. I have been saying for years, that I wanted to get my bachelors degree. I am enrolled, classes set, loans set, and more debt here I come.
So they say I should be done in about a 1.5 years. We'll see. I hope the time goes by quickly. So every 5 weeks, I will be chained to my computer even more, and have a new class.
I am secretly excited, but nervous too.

New Floor!
We are currently in the process of getting new flooring put in. I have saved, and saved to be able to do this. I am so excited. :) Here is a before picture. Some of the furniture already moved out.
Also on the agenda for the house. Saving my pennies for a porch cover, and a new pool table. We like to entertain here at the house. We would love to have these additions to our home.
We have been here 3 years, and things are finally coming together. Yippee!!!!!!!

Bento Madness
So this mommy got the bright idea to try to make bento boxes for the kiddos on school days. I think my imagination was bigger than my capabilities. SO anyways, I spent way too much at the Daiso store in San Diego. I mean really who spends $62.oo at a supposed dollar store?? C'mon. Well this girl did.
So far I have made 2 this week.
Here is Gianna's from today. Turkey breast with rice, carrots, cheese on the toothpick, and juice of course.

Cutest Raider on the field.
My Nicholas! Yeah yeah I know they have a bad wrap, and they don't win often but who would argue that he isn't the cutest one?
And one of us. Because he is a ham and loves to take pictures.

Santa Pics.
I love the utter look of disgust on Richie's face when it comes to Santa Pics. OH well maybe next year someone will put the cookie down, someone will look at the camera, and I'll get a decent pic.

A night with no kids.
So Richie and I went out last night with out the kiddos. My momma agreed to watch the kids for the night we went to a hotel in San Diego. We stayed here.
I got to do some shopping at Nordstrom Rack, and a bought a butt load of bento stuff for the kids. I plan to jazz up their lunches. I think I can do it. Only have a few more months of lunches left.
It was nice to spend the night alone with the hubby. We had dinner at Cheese cake factory. And spent the evening in peace.
Well except the lone kid yelling at the hotel room all was well.

Happy Anniversary!!
This is my hubby we married 10 years ago on December 20th. I was a mere child, he was the cradle robber. LOL
I love this man more today than yesterday. I am so very happy, and thankful to have him be my partner in life. He truly makes me laugh everyday.

On the agenda
Looking for my new flooring. I am searching the Internet high and low looking for the best price.
I am so excited to get new flooring. Who knew when I got older I would be excited about flooring? Anyways I am thinking a nice Brazilian cherry or a deep mahogany would do my house well.
My anniversary is on Sunday. Do we have plans nope. But it's 10 years married to thee best guy in the world. I am a happy chick. Maybe can slip away and go to a movie or something.
The 3 parties I have this week. Another cash for gold one. Yes it's the gift that keeps on giving with the commission I will make. Another is the ICU department party, and finally the ER party on Saturday. Man I need a sitter in the worse way.
I have to ship, and bake some time this week.
I have a few more gifts to wrap.
I need to buy my honey something for our Anniversary.
oh and I work the next 3 days in a row.
Thankfully school has ended, and I don't go back till the 7th of January.

Cash for Gold!
This past Friday I had a cash for gold party. I am sure you have seen on TV all those ad's. Send us your gold we'll send you money. I was hesitant till a friend had a party in her home. She made BANK!
They come to your house with a stack of cash and a gold tester, scale etc. Then the man whips out a large stack of cash. First thing in my mind, was whoa look at all that money. I have a couple guns in the house we could jump him/rob him. Then I came to my senses and came back to reality.
I invited some friends they brought their gold as well. I made out the best with over $800 in sold gold. Plus for hosting a party you make 10% of total sales. So I made well over $1000.00 that night.
The least amount of money paid was $70.00. It was a win win for everyone. We had appetizers, drinks, and good friends.
If they happen to stroll through your neighborhood, and you have something old to sell. I highly suggest it.
Merry Christmas to me! Since I paid cash for gifts this year. That money is mine. It's going to the I need new wood floors fund!

Against the Grain.
This year was the annual Hospital Party. I went against the grain, and wore a dress I normally wouldn't wear. I did buy another one, a very classy but plain on. My friend decided with new boobies I should try something else.
So I go to her house try this dress on , and man it fit like a glove. So I wore it.
I think we clean up pretty nice. :)
Being silly. He had a few too many drinks.A shot before we left the house in front of our tree .
And a quick pic of us.
Happy Holidays everyone. I hope you have a blessed one!

Guilty of....
I am guilty of giving my kids Mrs.Fields Cookies while I want to shop at the mall. Those little nibblers work wonders for 2 boys who get bored shopping.
Making the same food over and over again. I really shold try new recipes but I know what works, and what I won't burn so I make it over and over.
Eating chocolate almost everyday. (And I wonder why I don't loose any weight)
Using the dish washer when I don't have a full load.
Also throwing all the clothes in to the washer and not seperating them.
Rather than trying to find the little socks my house eats, I just bought some new ones for Richie.
Listening to really bad rap music full blast when the kids aren't in the car.
Laughing a little too much at the Movie " The Sweetest Thing" reminds me of "The Hangover" but in girl version. And of course not any of those nice pictures in the credits.
And of course can't wait till the movie comes out on Tuesday. Going to buy it in blue ray for all it's glory.
Still liking Milli Vanilli. Girl you know it's true! C'mon I know you thought it was a good song too.
Anyways that's about for now. Have a great weekend!!!

Random Thoughts.
Things on my mind lately.
The mountain of laundry I have to do. And my missing a cleaning lady.
Socks, why does my house eat socks of little people?
My sort of Charlie Brown tree everyday the ornaments are rearranged in new ways, thanks to the kids.
My lack of any creativity when it comes to dressing up said dress.
I want a new coat, I may have bought one at forever 21. Now I want another one .
And is it wrong that I still shop there. I am 30 this year, but refuse to shop for "mom"jeans.
My husband calling 5 times while he is suppose to be shopping for my gifts.
My anniversary coming up on the 20th. 10 years baby!
Me thinking I should be running but always having an excuse not to run.
My love of the movie Wedding Singer. Add 50 First Dates to that too.
I finally saw New Moon. I liked it, and was sort of blahed by it. I did however feel like a pedophile watching it that Jacob was smoking.
I probably thought he was too cute for my own good. My friend called me a MILF. ha ha!
The 3 Christmas parties I have coming up.
One semi formal the other jeans, and cute tops parties.
Still not knowing if I am working the Holidays. I wish my schedule was out already.

Christmas Card
I managed to get us all dressed and ready to go to church. I also managed to snap some pictures with my handy dandy tripod, and whamo a Christmas card.
I managed to get a few shots, did a small collage, and my card is done. :)
