This brainchild is an alternative to being homeless sleeping on the street, and let's the homeless have their own space. It's mobile, it holds your belongings. You can donate to help build more of these at EDAR They are waterproof also. I bet that is a big help.

It's the new food blog by one of my buddies. She started a blog about recipes on the cheap. Really clever recipes that we all can use to make our dollars stretch. Something most of us can use, since our 401K's are in the dumps.

Music Swap

I spent a good part of my morning making my mix tapes. Thank you Tiburon and Mindi .

I felt so junior high school. Maybe elementary school. I remember being cheap and waiting for "thee" song to come on the radio so you could record it straight from the radio. Only to have the DJ announcer guy jack it up and yell out the call letters of the station too early in the song.

I remember when I was younger a boy made me a mix tape. I still remember the song he wanted me to hear so bad. It was by The Cure Just Like Heaven. ahh 7th grade memories.

So it was fun to make a mix tape of the 80's so my fellow bloggers can listen. I sent mine out yesterday. Be on the look out Mindi.

Thankful Thursday

Thanks Tib stealing your idea. :)

1. My health, I am exceptionally healthy considering I almost exposed to bugs daily at work, and I am still alive, and kicking.

2. My children, yes I may complain about them but they are my life. I love being a mother. It is the greatest most rewarding experience I think I will ever have in my life. I love their smiles, their laughs, even their 50 million questions a day. I love it all.

3. My hubby he is my best friend. I love being married to him. He is a good man father and hubby. Also the man can cook, way better than I ever could. He is a good worker, and a well respected man. We/I are lucky to have him in our lives.

4. Good friends. I love my true friends. I can count on them for anything fight with them ,and still know they will be there the next day.

5. My relationship with my parents. I talk to and see my parents almost daily.

6. A sisiter in law I can talk too. I love her and am so happy to have her be apart of our family.

7. To know the peace of mind others don't have. I have a beautiful family, a home, food on my table good jobs. And my bills are paid. I have peace of mind for that I am thankful.
