Migraine from Hell

Today was a sucky day. I had a full day plan of activities. First I went to the local tree house. Nicholas had a grand time playing with the hundreds of toys they have there. I had a slight headache coming on. Figured I needed to eat.

Ate, than off to drop off G at Girl Scouts and Nicholas at his sitters. Off I go to physical therapy on the knee. Headache got worse. Now it's hurting to the point where I don't want to look at lights.

Hurry up finish, go to pick up the kids. Get home take drugs. Take a small nap. I so wanna throw up. I hate having headaches like these. It jacks me up all day.

Things I missed thanks to the headache getting my hair colored and cut.

Thanks headache you suck.

Back in the Game!

After feeling so blah. I think it's in part to me gaining back 4 lbs and work sucking. So I decided to start working out again and eating better. I decided to use the 10 minute trainer.
Believe it or not it's a work out for me considering I have not run or did any exercise in over 2 months.

Me and the hubby did it together last night. I was huffing and puffing after 6 minutes. They say you can get a work out in 10 min. but for best results you should do 3 of the 10 min. work outs.

Hopefully I can get back to the weight I was before. I wish I had a trainer, or someone to come kick my ass daily and tell me to work out.

It's Bandanniversary Time!

A year ago my hubby got the Lap Band Procedure done. I was about to pop with Nicholas when hubby flew to Monterrey Mexico. I was so nervous for him. For one I couldn't go with him because of the ever expanding belly. We didn't tell anyone in my family because he wanted to keep it private at the time. So off goes my hubby all by his lonesome.

I was a nervous wreck. Would my hubby be OK would he do OK with anesthesia. He is in a foreign country with his limited Spanish speaking abilities. Thankfully he came through it with flying colors. He stayed 4 days, then came home to me safe as can be.

He did have some adventures on the way there. He missed his plane in San Diego so was bumped a few times. He finally got to Mexico, but that meant his car service had to be called to pick him up later. So there I call in my limited Spanish speaking abilities trying to give them his new plane arrival times. That was fun!

The procedure went well. Over the year he lost over 50 lbs. He is now at a nice 246. Yeah he is still a big guy, but a healthier big guy. He is not taking so many medications for hypertension or diabetes. He is overall much healthier. I am very thankful my kiddies will have a daddy for a lot longer.

Glass Bottles

Well we finally made the switch to glass bottles. I must say it was hard finding some here. I am worried about the chemicals that are leeched into the plastics bottles when heated. The plastic bottles run some risks so we make the switch to glass. It certainly is different having a glass bottle. They definitely heavier it takes some time getting use to.

So now we will be looking for plastics with either 1,2 or 5 on the bottoms. Thankfully Richie doesn't use sippy cups so we lucked out on that one.

5 prescriptions later

yep between me and the children I have had 5 prescriptions filled. Me I got medicine for a right ear infection, Richie got antiobiotics. Nicholas recieved ear drops and antibiotics for his infections. And DH too. Yeah this is a sick household. Hopefully soon we'll be better.

Poor Nicholas has had the poops cough runny nose and mild fever. Richie is still barking like a seal. And I feel like I am under water with all the nasal pressure. Yeah so not fun.
