Bit of Freak

So I am a bit of a freak. Always out for the best deal, cheapest I could find, let me look around kind of girl.

Well I was on the hunt for a silver dress. Yes we are weirdos but the department chooses a color for the Christmas party and all the girls where that particular color. Well this year it was silver.

Not being the disco loving lady, I was hard set on finding something appropriate, and not resembling a disco ball.

So I searched high and low at Fashion Valley thee best mall in all of San Diego. No luck. Unless I wanted to wear a tube top looking dress, that I would be embarrassed to show my mommy too.

So I came across a simple dress that I could butter up and make it look nice enough.

Oh and since I love the ladies of mad men. It was mad men inspired. Take a look.

Yeah me pissed off looking. My hubby was being an arse when I told him I needed a picture.
And with a belt. And yes I know I have 2 different shoes on. It's so I can get an opinion.

Keeping the Economy Going.

So I am a bit of a freak. I have searched high and low. Even read reviews, and opinions on phones etc. Yes I am a nerd. Well I finally got a new phone. I paid a pretty penny for it. But oh it was worth it.

I think I am in love. I hold my new phone more than I hold my kids lately. I think I could marry it and I would be known as Mrs. Hero. I got the new Sprint Hero. And it's everything my little heart desired. From facebook, to managing my calenders, and email. Oh I love it so.

Yeah I am a freak so what.

Shopping addiction fed.

Being that I am working my tail off. I bought my self some boots, as I mentioned before and some jeans, and a sweater and a shirt. Yeah I went a little nuts. But hey I did get the purse free thanks to the coupon I had for DSW.

My Haul Today!

I was called off of work today. I was on call till 3 pm. That's the burden of ICU not enough patients they put you on call. So I went shopping.

Earrings from Torrid plus hair clips. The big gold ones are from Avon. I love Torrid for the accessories. And today they had a clearance sale. woohoo!


I got a dress from Charlotte Russe and 2 cute shirts. Grand total under $55.00 Love it.


Yeah the dress is busy but I like it. :)

Colored Jeans?

So would you wear any jeans other than blue jeans? I love the colors of the jeans out there but don't know if I could pull them off. So is this a DO or a DON'T?

One can wish!

One can wish can't they. That someday I may be able to wear a bikini again, and not have a gut hang over it. And to wear one so cute.

It works for me! Shopping Tip

Since I shop probably more than I should. I have accumulated those handy frequent shopper tags. You know the ones where you swipe it and rack up points or get coupons?I currently have one to DSW, NY and Company, Children's Place, American Eagle, and Hallmark.

So to make my shopping experience easier I finally put them all on a key chain. I have the key chain just for these cards. I keep it in my purse all the time.

Yeah most of you have probably done this but I am always late to the game. ;)

My part to stimulate the economy.

I did my part I went shopping I made a list I conquered most of it.

I have so wanted a Willow Tree Nativity set for years now. But me in my cheapness refuse to pay full price. So I was one lucky girl when I got it for half off. woot woot!

I also visited Macy's where I found lot's of goodies.

I also got a fake tree. I know I know it's not the same as a real one. But the real ones are 80 and up. So I figured why not go a "little green" not cut down a poor tree and got a huge fake one for cheap. A huge 9 foot tree.

I am a happy shopper saved some cash and got some stuff. So did you do your part too?

Wii are in the in crowd!

Yep you heard it we finally bought a Wii. We have talked about it for awhile and then went to Best Buy yesterday and got one. We also bought Rock Band. I can't wait to set it up. I also bought a nice new SD card for my camera and a ipod holder so my butt can run with it on my arm.

Richie took the kids to the movies while I cruised the mall. I love getting a good deal. I got a 2 piece track suit for Richie from Puff Daddy P-diddy or what ever he calls himself these days. Retail 59.00 got it for 14.00. I love clearance! Gianna also got some really cute Roxy ballet flats for super cheap as well.

Me I got nothing but some good walking in while I was nice and cool. I love our in door mall.
