Best Diet Ever..

Yeah this week I found the best diet ever. It's called a stomach bug. That kind that makes you lose 6 lbs in a few days. The kind that makes you scared even to drink water. Yeah that was me this week.

I can tell you since Monday night I have not had a real meal. I have had some bread and water. And thanks to the hubby, a nice IV complete with 2 bags of saline here at home. Thankfully the IV perked me up a bit, and also sadly gave me some of my weight back. :(

Anyways here is to hoping I can eat some real food this week.

Guilty of...

I am guilty of

Surfing the internet way too much.

Not making breakfast cereal is just as good right?

Not shaving my legs for days on end.

Letting the kids watch too much TV.

Cheating on my diet.

Not going to church every Sunday. (watching football or sleeping in instead).

Speeding.

Road Rage. (with some choice words).

Using my horn at people, dumb people on the road.

Having the worse sweet tooth.

Cursing like a sailor at times. It's rubbing off on the little one. I caught him saying ass the other day.

Having stuff in my cart, buyers remorse, and putting it back on any shelf. Sorry Target employees. I will try to be good.

Having to many magazine subscriptions. I am getting better though down to 2 now.

Yelling to much at the kids. I need to stop.

Not making a scrapbook for kid 2 or 3. I got lazy along the way.

Not keeping in touch with family.

I am sure there is more, I'll get back to you later.

So I have been trying to be faithful to my treadmill or running outside if the hubby is home. I did a great run today on the treadmill. Thanks to music, and my ipod which I love. Here I am about to change out of stinky clothes, and what do I see.....

The back of my legs. They are starting to resemble cottage cheese. WTH? I am being good, why must you do me like that?

Please legs, please cooperate, and not go down the path of cheesy-ness. Why o' why?

Let's make a deal, I will run, and eat better, and you will not resemble cheese. K!

Just when I thought I looked cute....

So I bought some new jeans awhile back, thanks to a coupon at Gap.They are the sexy boot cut jeans. They hug in all the right places. Just love them. I paired them with a cute cardigan sweater, and some boots. Here I am thinking I look cute. Only to look in the mirror, and what do I see. A pimple right in the middle of my eyebrows. LOL

God pegged me down a few notches. Not so cute now huh???

Story of my life. IN other news it's Friday. For this I am happy. I work the weekend though boo hoo.

Shoes - A love story

A girl can wish can't she? Let's go window shopping a'la internet. Maybe if I am lucky I can find the knock off of these shoes some where. I love shoes. I always have. I am the type of girl that will buy the shoes, and then look for the outfit to match them. I love my DSW here. I am a loyal customer.

I love a good pump or a boot. This year I bought some new flat boots, at Forever 21 one of my favorite stores. For 20 bucks. Can't go wrong with that price. And yes I am far from 21 but still love the store. It feeds my trendy monster.

Anyways, off to find some cute pumps, and some where to wear them too. hmmmm????










I especially love that purple pump reminds me of Prince in the 80's.

First Holy Communion

I am so happy. This year well actually in April, Gianna will be making her first Holy Communion. She has been studying for 3 years now, and is so excited. She is such a girly girl. She is really excited about the dress.

This is special to us as a family as well. I never made my first Holy Communion as a child even though I was baptized Catholic, my parents never followed through. So I am happy to say I am fulfilling my obligation to her, and the Church.

I can't wait for her to be able to receive communion.

Where's my Money Tree??

There is some big things coming up in my household. First off my Richie needs to have his tonsils removed. The thought of this scares me to death. He has had anesthesia once so I know he will hopefully God willing do OK with it.

On the other hand the little one Nicholas needs to have his front teeth fixed. Courtesy of mommy , and the sippy cup. I really do think some kids are prone to cavities.

Anyways between the both of them minus the flexible spending account, we are looking at a few thousand. Oh, and the hotel rental for when we go. Yipee! Where is my money tree when I need it.

My easy go to meal.

When I am in a pinch and need to make something quick this is my go to meal. It's not pretty but it's good.

Buy some stewed tomato's what ever you like Italian style or Mexican.
And broccoli florets. See I am cheap and buy the store brand.


I brown some kielbasa and slice it up.

Throw it all in a pan, and let it simmer till the broccoli is cooked. Put the lid on.

Serve over jasmine or brown rice, and you are done.



Really it is that easy. I usually start the rice first. And by the time the rice is done the meat is too.

And yes my kids eat this and love it. :)

Kanye is an Arse.

I don't really care about her. But at least have some decency to not steal her thunder or her spotlight.

I have 2 sick kids, and think they are getting me sick too.

Gianna is doing a darn fundraiser for school. I hate those things.

I hate ham deli meat. It's gross.

I hate mushrooms. Who eats fungi anyways. Well except cheese.

I love my running shoes.

My hubby told me he needs to fire me.

I am not liking my math class. But I gotta deal with it.

I need to color my hair AGAIN!

We watch way too much TV here.

No one reads my blog so I wonder why I do it anymore?

I caught vomit with my hand last night.

It stunk. And I think I saw some banana in it.

I wonder if my kids have the swine flu. I am sure I bring home bugs from work.

I have to hold down the little one to take his med's. It looks like torture.

I miss my hubby.

Nicholas fell off the bed last night. But he landed on some pillows so we are cool.

First day of school.

Today was Gianna's first day of school. My oldest is in the 4th grade. I can not believe it. Makes me laugh I think I wore bright outfits like that in the 3rd or 4th grade too. The 80's all over again. LOL

Monkey Boy turns Two!

My little monkey turned 2 this week. We had a small party with just family. He laughed, he opened presents, we ate cake. It was so much fun. I can not believe my littlest person is two already. Time is flying by!

Zumba what??

I must say I was not into this Zumba thing. Me dancing or attempting to dance around for an hour. I am not the most corrdinated person in the world. Let's just day the first day I may or may not have knocked over someone's water bottle with a flying kick. I may have quickly picked it up, and looked around to see if anyone was watching.

I laugh at myself trying to copy the moves of the instructors. I pray I don't hit any one with my arms or legs.

But I do sweat, I do have fun. I laugh at my lack of cordination, or dancing skills. But I think I may go back for more.

The 3 loads of laundry I still need to put away.

The floor that needs mopping.

The gray hairs screaming or taunting me from my head.

A little boy that has 2 volumes off (sleeping) or yelling at the top of his lungs.

My love of all things sweet, and why I haven't lost the last ten lbs.

This spot on my stomach I am hoping and praying it's not a hernia. That's all I need.

Officer Robert Rosas

Here is a widget to anyone willing to help out. I knew this beautiful family from his wife Rosalie. I have known her over 10 years. She is truly a beautiful kind soul. I am so sad for their loss. He leaves behind Rosalie, and 2 beautiful children.

He was killed in the line of duty. He worked for the Border Patrol.

These pictures are from Balboa Park in San Diego. I loved it there this past weekend. The weather was overcast and so much cooler than here.

We went to museums, and gardens, and walked around. The kids had a fun time running around.

Migraine from Hell

Today was a sucky day. I had a full day plan of activities. First I went to the local tree house. Nicholas had a grand time playing with the hundreds of toys they have there. I had a slight headache coming on. Figured I needed to eat.

Ate, than off to drop off G at Girl Scouts and Nicholas at his sitters. Off I go to physical therapy on the knee. Headache got worse. Now it's hurting to the point where I don't want to look at lights.

Hurry up finish, go to pick up the kids. Get home take drugs. Take a small nap. I so wanna throw up. I hate having headaches like these. It jacks me up all day.

Things I missed thanks to the headache getting my hair colored and cut.

Thanks headache you suck.

Summer Fun

Phone Abyss??

I had to buy new phones. I have to admit that the old ones were lost in the abyss of the house. I do have the little phone locate thing but when the battery dies on the phone it doesn't work . So what did we do take a little trip to Fry's and buy some new ones. Hopefully this time they can stay put. But who knows things have been knows to get lost in this house.

Muffin Top

ok This is not me above. But it could have been to some degree. I am proud to announce though not anymore. Thanks to a man with a handy dandy scalpel my muffin top is gone.

Anyone who is reading this and doesn't know ME. I am a fairly thin person. Would I like to loose a few more lbs sure who wouldn't. But there was no way with all the sit ups and dieting that stretch marks or 2 inches of skin was going to go away magically.

Well now it has. No more muffin top for me. When my incision heals up a bit more I will post some pics but for now, I am a happy camper.

Is surgery for everyone probably not, but for me it was.

Ballet Recitial

My baby girl had her 2nd recital. She did really well. Included in the pics is Yasmin. She is really growing up. She was very sure of herself on stage and did not hesitate at all. I am very proud of her.

Annoying

Things I am annoyed by right now is,

These 2 drains I have in my belly. Yes I know they serve a purpose but lately that purpose is to annoy me.

Richie my hubby saying to me let me drain your balls (aka drains). Haha he thinks he is funny.

Not being able to take a shower.

A funky abdominal binder I have to wear. It is making me itch so bad.

So bored in bed I am watching QVC. I think I wanna buy a new special value.

Can't wait till tomorrow drains come out. :)

Hooray for Boobies

I admit it. I find it hard to believe that if you know me in real life you would not think I had some work done. How could I not pass off size C cups when I lived in A valley? Well I am now a resident of C town. Woot Woot.

I had them done last Friday, it was the best 30th Birthday present to me. Yes it hurts a bit more uncomfortable than anything else. I also threw in a tummy tuck for funsies.

There is no way no matter how many sit ups I did the 2 inches of flab was not going to budge or the stretch marks. So I did that too.

So as I type this I have drains and tubes and a funky girdle thing going on. Hopefully in the end I will feel and look better. :)
