Tired!

Lately I have been tired.

Tired of...

my stomach

feeling hungry.

deadlines

homework (yes it just begun)

laundry

gas tank being almost empty

flabby arms

bad mirrors (yes there is such a thing especially when trying on bathing suits)

my hair cut

the ICU

my house in shambles

flooring almost in, but not quite yet.

the wind.

What are you tired of lately?

Online University

So today my first online class began. I am now a phoenix like the little commercial says. I have been saying for years, that I wanted to get my bachelors degree. I am enrolled, classes set, loans set, and more debt here I come.

So they say I should be done in about a 1.5 years. We'll see. I hope the time goes by quickly. So every 5 weeks, I will be chained to my computer even more, and have a new class.

I am secretly excited, but nervous too.

Thankful Thursday

Thanks Tiburon for the banner I stole. Go check her out here. Sharkbait

I am thankful for..

-new flooring

- a raise for hubby

- more hours at my other job (to be able to purchase new flooring).

- Starting my BSN next week on line.

- Warmer weather shorts in the winter time is grand. :)

- My hubby weed eating the back yard! Go hubby!!

- My beautiful kids they do brighten my day that is for sure.

- Gianna working towards her First Holy Communion.

- And of course everyday I am thankful for the charmed life I live. I have a job, home, cars, and kids. I am thankful for sure.

New Floor!

We are currently in the process of getting new flooring put in. I have saved, and saved to be able to do this. I am so excited. :) Here is a before picture. Some of the furniture already moved out.

Also on the agenda for the house. Saving my pennies for a porch cover, and a new pool table. We like to entertain here at the house. We would love to have these additions to our home.

We have been here 3 years, and things are finally coming together. Yippee!!!!!!!

Bento Madness

So this mommy got the bright idea to try to make bento boxes for the kiddos on school days. I think my imagination was bigger than my capabilities. SO anyways, I spent way too much at the Daiso store in San Diego. I mean really who spends $62.oo at a supposed dollar store?? C'mon. Well this girl did.

So far I have made 2 this week.

Here is Gianna's from today. Turkey breast with rice, carrots, cheese on the toothpick, and juice of course.
